Donation by an eight-year old

Donation PhotoWe would like to say thank you to Anna who donated $100 out of her savings to Sav-R-Cats for her 8th birthday in May!

Anna came by with her mom and her friend Jane to drop off the donation and meet some of the kitties. Thank you so much Anna!

Spring is near

As we enter into the month of March, days are getting longer and the sun seems to be shining just a little bit more. Spring is on the way!

As we are excited about the warmer weather, we know too that as spring approaches, kitten season begins.

Every spring there is a huge influx of kittens that are born. Some are found with their mothers, while others are found at just a few days old, alone and scared.

When newborn kittens are found without their mother, they go to a foster home where they need care 24/7. They must be fed on a regular basis. They also need help with things their mother would normally help with, including using the bathroom.

Fosters who take on this responsibility must give up the freedoms of going on vacation or being gone from their house for more than a couple of hours at a time. There is also money involved with bottle feeding and medical care for newborn kittens.

Please consider making a donation to help these little ones, who without volunteers and donations, wouldn’t be able to survive.
